Retreat just begins to describe this home in a serene, private setting located on Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana. With the private hot tub, (robes provided) private fishing lake and private road you will begin to wonder where the rest of the world went to. But soon it won't matter as you settle in and watch the deer feeding at the lake or the sounds of nature as the sun begins to set. With no city lights for miles the stars put on a show every night just for you. Slide into the hot tub lounger and let your cares slip away.
After a restful sleep you will be ready for some adventure! Fishing or boating at Patoka Lake, (canoe and jackets provided) checking out the State Recreational Area and visitors center, or planning a day at Holiday World theme park or Marengo cave will get your blood pumping. A trip to nearby Frenck Lick Casino offers gaming, food, golfing and shopping as well as train rides and cinemas. This home is private but it is centrally located to lots of activities. There are two marinas on Patoka lake with boat rentals and supplies. Winter is a special time if you are a skier with Ski Paoli Peaks just 25 miles away.
The home is 3 bedrooms sleeping 8, fully furnished with a full kitchen, washer / dryer and uniquely decorated with a hunting / fishing theme and rustic laminate wood floors. Large couches and rocker recliners keep things comfortable and the two satellite TV and DVD players keep it entertaining. With 28 windows and glass patio door the outdoors is always in view. The hot tub is located on the deck with views of the 2 acre grounds and private fishing lake. The charcoal grill is located off the deck as well as the large fire ring. Patio set with 6 chairs completes the outside area along with large shade trees and lawn sculptures. Every where you look it's comfort and luxury!
